Cancelling Overseas Voting

And Our plan to fight this unconstitutional move

📢Bill passed by National Assembly to reduce/cancel Overseas Voting Rights is unconstitutional it, violates Article 17 of Constitution.

❇️Supreme Court held in at least two cases that overseas Pakistanis have the fundamental right to vote

❇️Finally, President Alvi needs to sign it before it becomes law. He:

1⃣can sit on the bill for 10 days

2⃣resend the bill for reconsideration

3⃣ It will then have to be passed in a joint session

4⃣ After that the President can still hold the bill for another 10 days
