14-April-2022: The Attorney General Office didn’t come prepared and got a good grilling from Judge Sb. On the next hearing they are asked to come prepared or else Judge sb may summon the CM Punjab or PM of Pakistan

15-Dec-2021: The hearing was rescheduled to 19-Jan-2022 due to the unavailability of Judge sb and the summer holidays
25-Nov-2021: The petition is almost ready, and the legislation has been passed by the Parliamentary joint session. I called the Presidents office yesterday. They advised they haven’t received the legislation passed by the joint session. The President has to sign it for the process to be “officially” complete.
08-Oct-2021: Power of Attorney paperwork has been attested by the local Pakistani consulate. Courier the paperwork to Pakistan (ETA 11-Oct-2021). File the legal petition against ECP soon after the new legislation.
24-Sept-2021: First draft of petition received and meeting held with legal team
16-Sept-2021: Update meeting with the Lawyers. Their case law research suggests trend is in our favour and the case is straightforward. We decided to start preparing the draft of the legal petition
10-Sept-2021: Handed over the issues in written form to the lawyers.
09-Sept-2021: Meeting held with lawyers, briefed them on the issue. They will study more and come back next week.
